Terms of Use

This Terms of Use ("Agreement") is a legally binding agreement between you ("User" or "you") and the developer of the GitBot app ("App"). By using the App, you expressly agree to be bound by the terms and conditions in this Agreement.

License Grant

The developer grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and revocable license to use the App for your personal, non-commercial purposes.

Data Collection

  1. Personal Identifiable Information: The App does not collect, use, disclose, transfer, or store personal identifiable information (PII).
  2. Diagnostic Data: The App may collect diagnostic data using Bugsnag to improve functionality and identify security issues. Diagnostic data does not include PII and is handled in accordance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation and the California Consumer Privacy Act.
  3. App Usage Data: The App may collect app usage data using Datadog to optimize features and improve the overall user experience. App usage data does not include PII and is handled in accordance with the EU GDPR and CCPA.

Network Access

  1. Network Access: The App may request network access to retrieve GitHub repository and user data from the GitHub API.

Restrictions

You may not, or allow others to, (a) decompile, reverse engineer, modify, or attempt to derive any source code obtained under this Agreement; (b) remove, alter, obscure, or deface any copyright notice, trademark, logo, or other notice identifying the App; (c) attempt to hack, crack, or otherwise override any in-app purchase record or other mechanism required to access the App; or (d) use the App in any way that violates any law, this Agreement, or the rights of the developer or any third party.

Disclaimer

You use the App at your own risk, and the entire risk as to satisfactory quality, performance, and accuracy is with you. The software and accompanying documentation are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranty, express or implied, of any kind. The developer specifically disclaims any warranty of fitness for a particular purpose.

Acknowledgment

By using the App, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to follow the terms in this Agreement and the accompanying Privacy Policy.
